Short Crust Pastry (See Basic Recipie)
makes 200g
200g self-raising flour (8z)
pinch salt
50g lard (2oz)
50g margarine (2oz)
cold water, about 2tbsp (30ml)
- Turn the dough on to a floured board and roll out thinly, cut rounds and line patty tins
- Put a little jam or lemon curd in each, but do not over fill.
- bake in a hot oven for about 15 minutes.
